| So, I am finally updating (mere:)..... I was reading my Bible tonight and came across a verse that i must have circled a while ago. I will share the verse with you eventually:)... but the reason i am telling you all this is because God continually amazes me in all he does. He shows and tells us things exactly when we need them. Even last night in youth group,Claude's message was exactly what i needed to hear... it was a series entitled "How to Increase Your Confidence". Last night he talked about how God can help us conquer anything and that we can be confident in everything knowing that God is with us in every step of the way. This message really spoke to me last night for many reasons; things that have been going on in my personal life, and yet this cermon was planned and set up weeks ago, even before things in my life happened that i even thought i would need to hear things like this. But God knows and is with us every step of the way and has a plan for us. That is so reasuring, especially in all the stress and frustration of an uncertain future. But God is constantly showing me and teaching me new things and i have confidence in knowing that he loves me and will never forsake me.
So now i will share with you the verse that i came across tonight while reading:
"That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasuably great joy that will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather; we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever." - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
God is truly amazing and I thank him everyday for all he is doing and continues to do in my life.
